2.31 Referring to Exercise 1.8 in Chapter 1, we see that the sample of 4 deviations (observation - specifica- tion) during the second hour for a critical crank-bore diameter is -61 -4 -3 ten-thousandths of an inch. For these 4 deviations (a) calculate the sample mean (b) calculate the sample standard deviation s (c) On average, is the hole too large or too small?
