Go to www.regulations.gov and search for a regulation in an area of interest to you that is currently open for comment. Review the regulation and answer the following questions: 

1. Describe the proposed regulation in language you would use to explain it to your high school senior sibling (if you had one).
2. Search online for at least one article about the subject of your regulation that helps you understand more about the topic (even if it does not specifically mention the regulation).
3. Write a short paper or prepare a short presentation arguing either for or against the regulation or giving an even-handed presentation of both sides. You do not need to cover all issues raised by the regulation. At the time of this writing, regulations.gov was testing a beta version of its site, which seems like it will be a much-improved interface over the older version. Because of this change, no specific steps for navigating the website have been provided for the accomplishment of this exercise.
