While reading the local paper one day, he’s horrified to see an item in the gossip column, saying that he had just been in the hospital for ear implants. In fact, had the gossip columnist checked her sources, she would have found that Dumbo was in the hospital for an operation on his deviated septum; he’s never had an ear implant, his ears are just naturally that large.
