Currently it is illegal for people to sell their kidneys to people who require a transplant. An argument in favor of legalizing trade in kidneys is that it would increase the supply and substantially reduce the amount of time someone has to wait for a transplant. Is there an economic (not moral) argument against making trade in kidneys legal? Explain your answer.
