Many traditional retailers now have Internet sites. Other online retailers such as Lands' End and L.L. Bean do not have actual stores but practice only direct selling. Visit the sites of one or two popular retailers such as Gap, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, J. Crew, Banana Republic, or oth- ers. Then visit the site of a direct-only retailer.
