The iterative, incremental development seems to be nearing the bottom of the project backlog. Though there are a few features remaining in the uncommitted backlog, the sponsor has met with the product owner to consider the current iteration being the last.

This is probably due to:

A. The sponsor had a budget decrease mandate from senior management.

B. The perceived value of the remaining stories being less than the burn rate per iteration.

C. The product owner called the meeting since the development team is burned out.

D. The defects still needing rework have grown to exceed the value of the remaining stories in the backlog.
