Some prominent American firms have been found to be contracting with firms in the third world that employ children at low wages and for long hours. It is not easy to be unmoved by the conditions under which these people live and work. Should it be our policy that domestic firms should not deal with firms that employ children anywhere in the world? What affect. will we have on those children and their families if we pursue this policy?
