Identify someone who manages an information systems project in an organization. Describe to him or her each of the project planning elements in Figure 3-9. Determine the extent to which each of these elements is part of that person’s project planning process. If that person is not able to perform some of these planning activities, or if he or she cannot spend as much time on any of these activities as he or she would like, determine what barriers are prohibitive for proper project planning.
