Go to the GSS Web site sda.berkeley.edu/GSS and download the contingency table forthe 2006 survey relating happiness and whether you believe in life after death (variables HAPPY and POSTLIFE, with YEAR(2006) in the 'selection filter').

(a) State a research question that could be addressed with the output.

(b) Report the conditional distributions, using happiness as the response variable, and interpret.

(c) Report the x 2

value and its P-value. (You can get this by checking 'Statistics'.) Interpret.

(d) Interpret the standardized residuals. (You can get them by checking 'z-statistic'.)
