The Gulf Shipping Company in Dubai, UAE, has four terminal docks in its warehouse. Arriving trucks form a single line and use one of the four available docks for loading and unloading of the cargo. Truck arrivals are Poisson distributed, and the average arrival rate of truck is 8 trucks per hour. The loading/unloading times of cargo have a negative exponential distribution, and the average time to load/unload a truck is 20 minutes.
