My relations with others are generally determined by the work that we do. I feel more comfortable working in a small group or on a project with a defi ned and understandable structure. I tend to evaluate others (both peers and managers) in terms of whether they help or hinder me in doing a craftsman-like job. I do not compete against other people as I do against my own standards of quality.
