What is wrong with using the ten sayings mentioned in the case?

Perry was one of the worst bosses Lia had ever worked for. Perry had arrived from the main corporate office only six months ago to become the regional vice president for clinical operations, but already many staff members had polished their resumes and were looking for other work. Many of these statements reminded Lia of Perry. Then a specific incident that happened one December day crystalized in Lia’s mind the problems she had with Perry. Lia’s company operated satellite offices in Asia, and one of her responsibilities was to arrange and allocate housing for expatriates working at one of these satellite sites. Constant turnover of personnel and shortages of good apartments always seemed to be issues on this campus. Therefore, senior personnel were often placed in a smaller apartment with the promise to be moved to a larger one when it became available. Lia felt she did a good job of juggling the needs and sensibilities of senior staff with cost concerns.
Six months earlier, Scott, a senior-level orthopedist, and his spouse had agreed to relocate to the site and were told they could have the only apartment available in the senior housing unit, which had the best apartments. However, three weeks before they were to arrive, a senior administrator decided to transfer to the campus and moved into the apartment. Scott and his spouse were placed in a much smaller and older apartment near the site and were promised a better apartment when one became available.
Now, Perry was in charge of the entire site and had gotten to know many of its employees. He especially liked two junior employees, a couple who were friendly and had recently completed their master’s degrees—an accomplishment that impressed Perry.
