Find an international student or someone who you know comes from a different cultural background and become conversation partners. Visit informally at least once a week. Have lunch together, go out and do something together like shop, watch a sporting event or visit a museum or just sit and visit about your life and experiences. Take time to really understand the experiences the other person has had growing up in a community separate from your own. Be sure to share your own experiences as well.
