• In A Star is Born (2018), Ally faces a tough choice. Should she go on a long-planned concert tour of Europe, or should she stay home with her husband, Jack, who just got out of rehab and will relapse without her? Either way, there will be a cost. When Ally stays home, Jack blames himself for her deci- sion to put her singing career on hold. Instead of coming to her local concert, he commits suicide. The movie ends with Ally's heartfelt rendition of a song Jack wrote for her before he died, "I'll Never Love Again." (You can watch the official video on YouTube.)
