Consider an organization with which you are familiar. Why are there so few truly interprofessional teams with clinicians of all kinds, including staff nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, leaders, community members, patients, and students? What “old” ways of thinking, what values, and what hierarchical structures impede us from thinking inclusively?
