HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems)

a. Standardized assessments of patient’s perceptions of care, providers and information received while hospitalized.

b. Standardized assessments of patient’s perceptions of care, providers, and information received during any healthcare visit or hospitalization.

c. Duplication of existing surveys collecting similar data.

d. An approach to measurement that does not support value-driven health care.
