There is evidence that a culture’s language can influence the way people perceive and think. Experiments comparing color discrimination in Russian-speaking and English-speaking participants have revealed differences in color perception related to language. Other experiments show that these differences may occur mainly when colors are presented to the right hemisphere so that the left (language) hemisphere is activated. LO1
