1. A business defining what it means to be ethical is often presented in the code of ethics of the organization. The code of ethics addresses various aspects of each role and as an organization as a whole. When one considers them self to be a professional, one adheres to the code of ethics of their particular profession. Each professional trade has their own code of ethics. Some are very basic where others are extremely detailed. The various professions in the medical field are very specific. There are parameters from the ceu's required to the types of relationships one could have with clients. Do note a professional code of ethics does super cede an organization's if there were to be a conflict between the two. Has anyone had the opportunity to read a code of ethics whether from an organization or from a profession? If so, what are your thoughts and what stood out?

2. As I gain knowledge about molding myself into a leader to guide others, my professional life and my personal life will both get up grades? You have to live in a way that you don't feel negative and guilt. I think it just makes you feel better. It should be no different in a professional life as a leader, you should also perform in a positive, trusting manner in order to gain the respect of the ones you are guiding. When making decisions they should be ethical and reasonable. Making decisions that are selfish or personal gain would not be good leadership in my opinion. At this point don't know what type of leader is because I am still figuring out the different styles of leadership. Each one of the three theories of leadership are different and makes one more aware how diverse leadership can be. If were a transformation leader I would make sure that I "walk the walk", demonstrate standards expected of my team, by motivating and delivering the vision. As an authentic leader, people should want to follow me. I would hope to inspire my team to pull together, work hard on the projects and communicate effectively to make sure we are all on the same page. As a servant leader, I would focus on the needs of others first. As a servant leader you try to acknowledge other peoples perspectives but also provide support to help them meet work and personal goals. Of the three theories of leadership I feel I am more of a servant leader, I’m always trying to help and get the goals accomplished and I don't mind putting hard work to help out.
