A survey of 13,364 Canadian students who enrolled in private career colleges was conducted to understand student participation in the private, postsecondary educational system. ¹⁶ In one part of the survey, students were asked about their field of study and about when they entered college. Here are the results:

1) Make a 6 x 2 table of counts. To get counts, you need to multiply the % by the totals in each row.

2) Make an appropriate stacked bar chart to illustrate the table.

3) Do a chi-squared test of independence to determine whether the time that students enter career colleges and their field of study are independent. Show all six steps with the appropriate computer output pasted into the appropriate steps.
