a) Murdo takes his car to a car park. He collects the ticket from the machine and is given a car park ticket. When Murdo returns the car is totally destroyed by a fire which was set by one of the car park employees, it has been badly damaged. The car park refuses to compensate Murdo and draw his attention to the clause on the second level sign.

b) Murdo places an advertisement in the local newspaper which reads:

LOST: Siamese cat wearing a blue collar and name tag Reward $500. Phone 04………..

Milly finds the cat and returns it to Murdo having read his address on the cats name tag. She does not know about the reward but finds out about it later. Is Milly entitled to the $500 reward? (5 marks)

c) Murdo is a singer and agrees to perform at a festival for $1000 on the 3 ^rd December. He makes this arrangement with Rajesh the promoter of the festival. Yesterday he received an e-mail asking him to perform at another venue on the 3 ^rd December for $2000.Murdo would like to accept this latest offer, can Rajesh make Murdo perform at the festival?
