This is the dashboard project and is an expansion of your strategic analysis. You will submit two files for this task.

The first file will contain the image of the dashboard itself (showing the data visualizations of your kpis). You may use whatever visual software you are most comfortable with (e.g., word, excel, PowerPoint, or paint), however, please do not use visio.

The second file should be a word document that contains the detailed information regarding your dashboard. Apa formatting is not required for this task.

The following are items that i am looking for:

1. Name of the company

2. The users of the dashboard (e.g., marketing department, logistics, executives, etc.)

3. The strategic analysis (rewording from the first task)

4. List the objectives and goals (taken from the first task)

5. List at least 5 kpis (key performance indicators). These are the things that are measured to ensure that the objectives or goals are met. For each kpi state which objective or goal that it is aligned with.

6. For each kpi list the target values and the threshold values. The target value is the value that you need to maintain to meet the goal or objective to close the performance gap.

7. State how alerts or exceptions will be handled.

8. Include encodings (i.e., color coding) that represent your threshold values for the kpis. Typically this means that good values are green, yellow values are borderline, and red values are bad.

9. State where you are getting the data for the kpi values. (e.g., surveys, manufacture database, hr file system, etc.)

10. State how often the data is refreshed. Is your data “fresh” or “stale”?

11. Will you use drilldown or filtering to expand or limit the amount of data that is visible on the dashboard?
