You need to write a paper on the following points about yourself:

1) General Area of Interest (e.g. Advertising, Public Relations)

2) Specific area of interest (e.g., effects of emotional selling on children)

3) Explain in brief, what exact problem you are hoping to measure or assess

(For example, I am interested to know if the age of an ad character is a compelling factor for children to get affected by emotional advertisement- Let's say, children are more willing to buy a product when an emotional appeal is made from someone matching their age group compared to someone who does not represent their age group.

4) Your Independent, controlling and dependent variables

(For example, age of the character depicted in the ad; type of the product; attitude towards the ad and purchase intention)

5) Write down your major hypothesis or RQ.

6) What is your preferred research method? (Survey, interview, or experiment)

7) How to plan to collect data for your research? Who would be your sample?
