• A detailed description of what fake news/misinformation is
• A historical example of fake news before the term was coined and the impact that fake news had on the society/group/person. (This example must be from beforethe 2016 election and the years following)
• A detailed description of when the term "fake news" began appearing and who/what helped the term gain popularity
• Why it is important to recognize and combat fake news
• Tactics your paper's reader could use to identify fake news

there should be at least three different entries that are from a scholarly source!
