If w is any string, p and q are any two states of a $\backslash$lambda $-$NFA N$,$ and N$$ is the ordinary NFA made from N by the construction of Section $14\mathrm{.}7,$ then the triple $($p$,$ w$,$ q$)$ is in the $\backslash$Delta $*$ relation of N if and only if it is in the $\backslash$Delta $*$ relation of N$.$
