A challenge that I have been struggling with this semester is time management. For some reason,P I have been struggling with procrastination and the motivation to begin assignments and projects. I need to work on better time management to fix this as I feel like I struggle with it quite a bit and it has caused me increased stress and work overload. 3 specific time management skills I could use include:

1) Plan and prioritize. Spend time organizing a schedule of what needs to be done and when to do it. (pg 82)

2) Prioritize tasks by level of importance. You can get the dreaded, harder assignments and projects out of the way and break them down into manageable steps that can be accomplished through time. (pg 82)

3) Avoid postponing. Procrastinating is one of the biggest time wasters, so be realistic with the time needed for the job and plan accordingly. (pg 82)

These three techniques will help me increase my time management skills to avoid stress and stop being overwhelmed by coursework and responsibilities. 2.

The challenge that I'm facing is time management. I don't have enough time to complete my assignments and study for my exams. I think establishing a routine would help me manage my time better. That way I can have time to complete all my assignments and still have time to study. With a routine I will have set times to finish tasks throughout the day. This will ensure there is no last minute stress about assignments.

get in the habit of preparing a to do list - making a list of what needs to be done daily would make sure no work is left for the next day. pg 75
