1. a) Consider a small start-up company has four branches at different location of a city with a capacity of 20 hosts, 10 hosts, 18 hosts and 20 hosts respectively along with an application server, web server and mail exchange server. All these servers have to be connected to the internet. Assume yourself as a network administrator and answer the following: i. Suggest the required networking devices along with its working principle and appropriate topology to establish a network. Also find out the total number of cables needed, I/O ports required per device and total number of ports per network for construction of the network with the suggested topology. (7 marks) ii. Draw the complete network infrastructure for the above given scenario by showing the IP configuration details. (3 marks)
