1 A group of friends got together to celebrate the mid-semester break. The party was going well and everybody was happy. The host of the party had also made a big bowl of fruit punch for those who preferred a non-alcoholic beverage. Unbeknownst to the host, his brother Kaya, who works in a laboratory, added a large volume of pure ethanol to the punch while nobody was watching. Shamila, a strict non-drinker was the designated driver for a few of her friends and had been drinking the fruit punch all night. During the night she says she started to feel a bit funny, but assumed it was a headache coming on and took two paracetamol tablets.
