1. A router with an IPv4 address of 125.45.23.12 and an Ethernet MAC address of 23-45-AB-4F-67-CD has received a packet for a host destination with IP address 125.11.78.10. The router has no ARP table entry for this IP address.

NOTE: For each of these questions show the packet/frame format similar to the image in figure 9.8 above. Show each field in a separate box as well as the fields contents.

a. Show the ARP entries in the ARP request packet sent by the router.

b. Show the ARP entries for the ARP reply if the host that replies has an Ethernet MAC address of 0C-15-C0-BA-D1-00.

c. Encapsulate the ARP request from part a in an Ethernet frame. You do not need to calculate the CRC, but make sure and include it in your frame.

d. Encapsulate the ARP reply from part b in an Ethernet frame. You do not need to calculate the CRC, but make sure and include it in your frame.
