1, Anthony contracted to purchase Alf's car on, amongst others, the following terms:

"Clause 2:Alf undertakes that he is the lawful owner of the car [descriptionof make, model and registration number] and has the legal right to transfer ownership of the car to Anthony.

Clause 4:Alf shall clean and polish the car before delivering the same to Anthony on the date of delivery.

Clause 5:Alf undertakes that the car is in all respects suitable for use on the road.

Advise Anthony on the remedies he is entitled to upon the breach of each of theterms above.

2, Alvin went to enjoy the waterslides at "MonsterTide!" At the entrance, where Alvin purchased his ticket, a large notice at the ticket counter had the followingterm printed on it:

"The Management shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered by any person using the facilities of MonsterTide!"

Alvin was sliding down a water slide when his expensive new swimming trunkswere caught and torn by the jagged edge of a crack in the surface of the slide.Unfortunately, the jagged edge also punctured his skin and left Alvin with a bad cut on his lower back.Investigations show that the Management of MonsterTide had been negligent in maintaining the equipment and facilities at MonsterTide. Thus overlooking the serious crack in the surface of the waterslide.

Advise Alvin if he can claim for the damage to his trunks and the medical expenses for the treatment of the cut on his lower back.
