Suppose a trading company is composed of a distribution center and a supermarket chain, where the distribution center includes a purchasing department, a finance department, a distribution department and so on. In order to improve the management efficiency, the company asks your group to design an information management center for the distribution center.
When the supermarket puts forwards delivery requests, the warehouse will check its inventory. If the good is in stock, an order will be sent to the distribution center for sending out the good. If the good is out of stock, both the purchasing department and supplier will be noticed. They need to communicate with each other about purchasing issue.
