1. Describe some of the ways you categorize the world. Which of those categories are your in-groups? What stereotypes do you think you hold about out-groups? Have you ever found yourself evaluating out-group members in a biased way or noticed them evaluating you in a biased way? When have those biased evaluations resulted in discrimination? What factors led you toward biased evaluations, and what were your thoughts during the time? How have you stopped that from happening?

2.Recall a time when you have been involved in intergroup competition. What did you think of your rivals? What do you think they thought of you and your teammates? How were the opinions you had of each other were influenced by the fact that it was an intergroup competition, not an interpersonal one? Would it have been different if it were an individual, not a team, competition and why is it so?
