• 1) Discuss the importance of scholarly and professional literature review when conducting a new research project; define the meaning of scholarly literature; explain why a literature review is not a review of one study after the other but a synthesis of sets of related studies, and describe the importance of including a summary at the end of literature review that includes the facts from the chapter that most closely relate to your research questions. As a second aspect of this discussion, please share your suggested topic for the course project. You may include some preliminary overarching and sub-questions if you wish. This way we could discuss your selection a bit before you submit for approval as one of the assignments this week.
