1. Discuss the potential impact of technology on a toddler's development. Use theories of cognitive development (Piaget, Vygotsky) to support your ideas.

2. Take a stance. Do you believe technology is overall helpful, harmful, or somewhere in between? Be sure to discuss the possible impact on gross motor development, fine motor development, language development, emotional development, gender development, cognitive development, and social development.

3. Use examples from your own experience, a friend/family member's experience to illustrate your ideas. If you don't have a personal experience to draw from, describe what you might imagine would happen to a toddler who frequently uses technology.
