(2) Familiarize yourself with the details of Aristotle's classic account of moral goodness (Sandbu, pp. 34-38). Explain how you understand the two chief points that emerge from Sandbu's analysis of Aristotle's theory (esp. Sandbu, p. 37).

(3) Read Robert C. Salomon's and Albert C. Carr's rival interpretations of the aim of business as a social practice (Sandbu, pp. 38-45). Explain how the alternative ways of understanding the telos of business--viz. the flourishing of the wider human community vs. winning at something analogous to a poker game--affect our understanding of the normative standards that govern the activity of business.
