1. Customers are often the major stakeholders because they generate the money and demand for the pizza delivery business. Their pleasure and loyalty are vital to the company's success.

2. Service owners and investors have a big stake because they provide the funds and resources required to create and manage the pizza delivery service. Their financial interests are inextricably linked to its success.

3. Factors such as delivery driver traffic and the availability of employment opportunities can have an impact on the local community where the firm operates.

4. Project Background

There is a severe decline in revenue of PDQ due its competitor's new strategy of delivery pizzas in 45 minutes.

To overcome this hurdle a computer-based system is to be designed including all the processes to fully operate with proper communication making it as a central system.

For this automation and proper departments connection is required to monitor every step during the process.

5. Project Scope Statement

Project Purpose / Business Justification

The project's main aim is to enhance PDQ's delivery operations, regain lost revenue, and gain its lost competitive edge.

Objective (in business terms)

Regain the lost 30% revenue till third quarter of this financial year.

Deliverables

Pizza Factory Locator Sub-system: Determine optimal factory locations.

Order Entry Sub-system: Streamline order processing and routing.

Logistics Sub-system: Optimize pizza van assignment and delivery routes.

Order Submit Sub-system: Efficiently assign orders to stores, factories, or vans.

Inventory Management Sub-system: Automate inventory control and reorder processes.

Routing Sub-system: Implement real-time routing for delivery trucks.

Scope

The scope of this project is to develop, test and launch these six systems and make them synchronous to work together as a whole. This will be done using the parallel module development as it reduces time and gives more time to test.

Complete this project of implementing and testing within six months from the start date.
