1 Gestation period of Arabian horses Valera et al. (2006) investigated various influences on the gestation period of Andalusian and Arabian horses. Here we'll look at the gestation periods of the 234 Arabian pregnancies discussed in the article. Each was a result of a natural mount and a spontaneous birth. The file 2040_W23_Arabian_gestation.csv contains the gestation periods (in days) for these 234 Arabian pregnancies. You must import this data set into R to carry out the analysis. For the first part of this section, assume that these 234 pregnancies can be thought of as a simple random sample of Arabian pregnancies resulting from a natural mount and spontaneous birth. a) Plot an appropriate boxplot, histogram, and normal quantile-quantile plot of the gestation periods. Include the line in the normal QQ plot. Properly label the axes (the default axis labels on the normal QQ plot is fine). Give each plot an appropriate title or caption. As with Assignment 1, using R put the name of one of your group members on each plot. Include these plots in your submission.
