The mean yield on the treated plots was 5.1 bushels while the mean yield of wheat on the untreated plots was 4.8 bushels. Suppose it has been known that the population standard deviations of the yield between the treated and untreated plots are 0.3 bushel and 0.4 bushel, respectively.
