1. Install mailutils on VM1. When prompted for "type of system" select "Satellite" The mail domain should be the name of your domain 2. Get DNS to work with your 10.8.9.xx address. See instructions here 3. Make sure snort is installed on VM2. On VM2 type snort -V. See instructions here Most everyone should already have snort installed so you will most like not need to install it. If you get a message that snort is not installed contact me and I will help you with the installation. You should not wait until the last moment to test if it's installed since you will not have enough time to fix it and complete Task 1
