It would typically take the frying pan supplier a week to prep an order for shipment and the transit time is one week from the supplier to the Canadian Tire Distribution Centre. It then takes up to two weeks to allocate and ship the product nationally to all stores. How do you proceed? What information do you need?

2. Hockey helmets

There is a contractual agreement with a hockey supplier to create purchase orders in increments of 1000 units for hockey helmets. The hockey sale season ends in 30 days. After 30 days there is no projected demand for another six months. The forecasted purchase demand is 200 units between now and the end of the season. How do you proceed?
