My car personality is SUV.

I agree with the test, as it fits my personality and the activities I enjoy. I live for the next trip or athletic feat. For example, I play soccer six nights per week, and I train for one annual running race. I went downhill mountain biking in the Sierra Nevada mountains last spring. Over winter break, my husband and I spent two weeks exploring Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. We're also visiting Texas in April for the total solar eclipseLinks to an external site.. Finally, as part of our honeymoon in 2022, we visited the island of Crete and did a 10-mile hike through the Samaria Gorge.

This wanderlust is partly inspired by my full-time employer, National Geographic. Growing up in central Pennsylvania, my family didn't have money for international vacations, so I relied on the pages of our magazine to learn about foreign lands and experiences. While I don't travel as part of my role, I'm working for a brand that represents exploration and has inspired me to live outside my comfort zone.

Coincidentally, my husband and I own an SUV as our shared car. He plays electric fiddle in a cover band that performs around the Washington, D.C. area. This car provides versatility for all our needs, from transporting racks of band equipment to suitcasesfor our next roadtrip.
