Since Internet users is in terms of per 100 persons it is a measurement of interval scale. With the increase in internet users the rate of unemployment is expected to decrease. The World Bank (Data | The World Bank) UNESCO defines \"The percentage of population aged 15 years and over who can both read and write with understanding a short simple statement on his/her everyday life as a literate person. Generally, Literacy (X3) also encompasses 'numeracy', the ability to make simple arithmetic calculations. Adult illiteracy is defined as the percentage of the population aged 15 years and over who cannot both read and write with understanding a short simple statement on his/her everyday life.\" Since Literacy rate is in terms of percentage it is a measurement of ratio scale. With the increase in Literacy the rate of unemployment is expected to decrease. unesco (n.d.). United Nation Statistics Division of defines the total fertility rate (X4) as a \"widely used summary indicator of fertility. It refers to the number of children a woman would bear if her child-bearing follows the current fertility patterns and she lives through her entire child-bearing years. It is a synthetic measure that provides a good picture of how many children women are currently having.\" Since fertility rate is in terms of percentage it is a measurement of ratio scale. UNdata 3) Data Description The data providing value of Unemployment (Y), Inflation (X 1) and Internet (X2) is obtained by world development indicators from \"World Bank data\". While source of observations for variables Literacy Rate (X 3) and fertility (X4) is literacy rate under the section Education from UNESCO and statistical indicators on men and women from United Nation Statistics Division respectively. The data is provided specifically for 30 countries. This is a cross sectional data since all values are corresponding to same year 2012.
