1 Relational Schema (20 Points) Consider the following ERD about criminal cases handled by Ontario Attorney General Office. Assuming that the entity types have the following attributes Case(case-id, court-room, date, time, hearing-duration) Crime(crime-name, time-committed, location) Defendant(dname, birthday, sex) Lawyer(Iname, firm, ltelno) Case Consist Crime Date-of-Arrest (0, N) Committe Arresting-Officer (0, N) Defendant Defend Lawyer A criminal case is identified by a unique id and is scheduled to be tried in a court on certain date and time. A crime is represented by a name, say 'murder', 'robbery' and 'arson', and the place and time it was committed. The name of a crime is unique in a case. Zero or more individuals (called defendants) may be charged for a crime in a case and it is possible for a defendant to be charged with more than one crime at any time. Clearly, the lawyers are hired to defend the defendants. The underlined attributes are the primary keys of the corresponding entity types. What to submit: Translate the ERD into a relational schema. Your schema should be simple and non-redundant. State clearly, if any, the constraints such as the primary and candidate keys and the foreign key constraints for the schema. State the constraints in the ERD, if any, that cannot be represented with your design
