1) Removal of electrical noise data. (10 points) For this question, you are going to work on EEGrestingState.mat file. You're expected to remove the electrical line noise at 50Hz and its harmonics. The algortihm is going to be as foolows: 1) Load the data (0.5 points) 2) Plot time series signal (0.5 points) 3) Plot frequency spectrum (0.5 points) 4) Define at which frequencies the electical noise is present. (0.5 points) 5) Build a filter, and check the filter gain. (1 points) 6) In order to increase the filter gain in all frequencies decided to be removed change the order of the frequency, several times, and make sure that I am seeing all your trials. (1,5 points) 7) Plot the gain of the filters again and show that the gain is close the 1. (1 points) 8) Plot the original signal and filtered signal in the same plot. (0.5 points) 9) What is an alpha wave? What is the amplitude and frequency spectrum of alpha wave? (1,5 points) 10) Build a filter on cleared signal that extract only alpha waves. (1 points) 11) Plot the frequency spectrum after you filtered out for alpha waves. (0.5 points) 12) Plot the noise-free signal and alpha wave signal in the same plot. (1 points) Do not write codes that are irrelevant, only write the codes which are necessary. I will directly copy/paste your codes to matlab platform. If it's not working, your question is not going to be evaluated. So when you're writing and explanation, please write them as comments with % signs
