1. Scan the list of articles and make your choice: Articles for Assessment 1 Article Review

2. Read the article making notes as you go, on the topic and content, but also what thoughts the article prompts in you. This will assist with your reflective review. (60 mins) 3. Try drafting an introduction that both describes the article and your key message about it. This sets up the rest of your review. (30 mins) 4. Create a plan for the review you could do this by noting the key content for each paragraph 5. Can you construct a conclusion yet? 6. Go back to your notes and to the article. Has something new come to your attention? Does a fresh reading confirm your approach - or do you need to refine that? 7. Draft the review making sure that it is reflective, that it is a review not just a summary. You are encouraged to include your experience, personal reactions and reflections 8. Put it aside for a bit. Then come back and read again. 9. Edit and carefully proofread 10. A note on citation: If you have established the articles title and author in your introduction and you have a correct Harvard citation at the end, you do not need to do more than add page numbers throughout the review for direct quotes. (You do not need to use any other articles, but if you do, cite and reference in the usual way.)
