(i.e. the federal and state governments are both able to regulate) such as minimum wage laws).? If, however, the federal and state laws are in conflict or if there is a need for a single set of rules that everyone is subject to, then federal preemption under the Supremacy Clause will apply.? Here the issue is whether both laws can apply or should this be a case where only federal law is applicable
