Case Study:
The current case study features a three-year-old toddler who has a language and speech impairment, as well as frequent ear infections and dietary aversions. The toddler comes from a middle-class family. The toddler has a 1-year-old brother who does not have any known learning or speech problems or ear infection issues. Parents have been married for a long time, but father isactive duty in the Navy. To address the toddler's speech, hearing, and food challenges, a parenting action plan will be prepared. I will explore the case in the context of home and parental/doctor exercises to support the toddler, presenting options that may include a home plan to address the father's absences as well as a specialist to assist in the necessary steps to assist the toddler in speech and learning disabilities.
