1. Using the example as a guide the green color prepare a sales budget in the same manner as you see on the slide. Make sure you use company headings and everything. It should look the same as the slide but with the following information instead.
Online corp had the following sales per quarter.
1st 50,000 units
2nd 35,000 units
3rd 24,000 units
4th 56,000 units.
All the units sold for 2.40 per units. Complete a sales budget using the slide to complete this problem.
2. Using the same numbers from question 6 above you need to complete a projected sales budget. The only difference is this question you will need to increase the number of units per quarter by a percentage. Also the selling price will increase. So technically, your doing the same budget but with slightly bigger numbers. This is what companies do to try and predict future sales. So with that said, the number of units sold each quarter is expected to raise up by 12%. The selling price of each unit is to increase 3%. Prepare the budget in the same manner as number 6 above, but with the updated percentage increases. NOTE: Keep in mind the numbers are increasing so the total you should come up with should be bigger than the numbers in question 6.
