9. In the same article and n the article "Social Media and Privacy," there are many states that have passed laws concerning employer - employee relations. These laws prohibit employers from "shoulder surfing" or making an employee access a personal account while management watches, from requiring an applicant or employee to change the privacy settings on a restricted account to a less-restrictive setting so that the employer can access it, or by forcing the employee to accept an employer's "friend" request. Does Minnesota have such a law? Why would an employer like to access your accounts? Do you think it is a reasonable request for an employer to see your accounts? Why or why not? In states that have such laws, how are employers getting around the law and obtaining information from an employee or future employee's social media accounts?
