Ingrid said? Evaluating research is important, there are several factors that should be considered to ensure the validity and reliability of the study. Some of these factors are research design, sample size and selection, data considerations. With research design the study should be well designed so that it can successfully answer the question. An example would be a clinical trial and how the new drug is tolerated and or not tolerated in a controlled environment. In a sample size selection, it is important to ensure that the sample size is large enough so that it will yield the best results, just as a study on migraine headache treatments you would need a sample of people that suffer from migraines and those that do not. Data Collection and analysis would be being able to identify methods on collecting data as well as analyzing to ensure that the data is reliable. An example of this would be a study toll that has been validated. The results and conclusion factor are a clear representation of the data as well as the limitations within the study. This would be a study where you have a distinct correlation between two variables. The ethical considerations fact is when the study was ethically conducted. An example of this would be that the participants were given consents which they signed and were given a copy for their records.

3.Amanda said? There are a few factors that need to be considered as one evaluates research materials. When reviewing material, there are important items to note including whether the article/information is peer-reviewed - as it will be ideas, work, and arguments compiled by professionals who work within that field; credible websites or referencing links, including those provided through university libraries, that will provide accurate and appropriately updated literature that will be relevant to the topic being researched; that the literature is relevant to its audience with opinions expressing the information one wants to share within the chosen topic so to capture the attention of said audience; determining whether the research is helpful and believable with information that will easily collaborate with other material. It is also important, when assembling research materials, to gather "two to three times more articles than you need so you have a rich landscape from which to build a compelling argument" (Dunn & Halonen, 2020, p. 195).
