1- While drilling with a water base mud with the density of 10 PPG we face with the following conditions:

- Actual equivalent pore pressure is 9 PPG and equivalent fracture pressure is 14 PPG.

-There is a thick and highly reactive shale formation ahead and you want to drill through using the current mud.

-Actual equivalent pore pressure is 11 PPG and equivalent fracture pressure is 14 PPG.
